Rescued Horses and Other Featured Animals for Adoption
Dogs are not the only animals we have available for adoption; we also have rescued horses and other animals. Our farm animal friends are looking for families to love and care for them. We have many farm animals available for adoption. Here are some pictures of our featured animals that come from cruelty situations looking for new homes:

Lola
Lola was saved from an auction where she was bound to be sold and slaughtered for meat. We were able to rescue her from this cruel fate and give her a second chance at our sanctuary where she is cherished and loved. Lola is still learning to trust people so she is a bit independent. But, she is very gentle and enjoys being scratched and petted. Lola’s favorite pastime is playing with her goat and sheep companions.
Rex
Rex was rescued before being euthanized at a local animal shelter. He had a medical condition that made him less adoptable. Our veterinarian performed surgery and corrected his ailment. Now, he is a perfectly healthy little pig. Rex is very sweet and very much enjoys the company of people. He loves to be scratched and to have his belly rubbed. Rex does well with other pigs and with dogs. He would also be great for a family with children.
Pancho
Pancho came to our sanctuary because his family moved and was no longer able to care for him. He is a very friendly and loving goat. Pancho is extremely curious and loves to be involved in everything. He enjoys people and his goat and sheep companions. Pancho would be a great addition to any family.
Rocky
Rocky was rescued from an abusive owner. He was treated cruelly when he was just a tiny piglet and he was fed a diet of beer and junk food. Rocky is now a full grown and healthy pig. But, Rocky cannot forget his horrible past and he has still not learned to trust people. Rocky would make a great companion for someone who is looking for an independent potbellied pig.
Stanley
Stanley was a 4-H pig who was bound for auction and then slaughter. The boy who raised him did not want Stanley to be killed so he asked if Stanley could come to our sanctuary and of course, we agreed. Stanley is now a very large farm pig. He sometimes intimidates our new visitors and volunteers, but everyone quickly discovers that Stanley is all sweetness. He loves people and his absolute favorite pastime is receiving belly rubs. Stanley is one special pig looking for a family to love.
Willie and Sherman

Willie and Sherman were rescued from a local animal control shelter. There is not much information about their past but we knew that we wanted to guarantee them a wonderful future. Both ducks are bonded and must be adopted together. They are very curious and always want to be involved in all the activities in the poultry pen.
Julia
Julia is a gentle and beautiful turkey. We rescued her when a local feed store called asked us to take some sick baby turkeys. We nursed Julia back to health with round the clock care. She fully recovered and is now healthy and strong. Julia loves people and craves attention. She would be an amazing addition to any family looking to love a very special bird.
Thelma, Louise and Big Red
Thelma, Louise and Big Red came to our sanctuary because their previous family could no longer care for them. These beautiful chickens are friendly and inquisitive. They are gentle and enjoy being held. Thelma, Louise and Big Red would be great for a family with children of all ages.
