Things We Need For Our Dog Adoption Centers
Caring for our animals requires a lot of time, love, money, and supplies. Listed below is our Hooves & Paws animal rescue league “Wish List.” Donating the following items will help us with the day-to-day care of our animals and support our operational needs for programs like our dog adoption centers. Every little bit helps, and will make a difference in the comfort and rehabilitation of our animals.
Items can be dropped off during on Sundays to Hooves & Paws. Please call to ensure that we are available to accept your donation. You can find directions to the rescue sanctuary on our contact us page. Remember, even used items can help our animals. All donations are tax deductible and will help benefit all of our centers including local dog shelters. A receipt will be given with your donation.
Thank you so much for your interest in providing us with items to help us care for our rescued animals. We always need the following items, especially for our dog adoption centers:
Bleach and alcohol
Baby cereal (for special needs chickens)
Dog beds and blankets
Dog collars and leashes (no leather please)
Dog toys (rubber toys, plush and stuffed toys, tennis balls)
Dog crates of all sizes for our dog adoption centers (we use small crates for chickens) and exercise pens
Food and water bowls (ceramic, plastic, rubber, or metal containers)
PetCo or PetSmart gift cards
We also need the following large items to help us continue our life saving work. If you are able to donate any of these items, please call or email us for more information. Thank you!
Pipe corrals, fencing and lumber
Tractor with box scraper
Cattle squeeze chute
Truck and livestock trailer
Travel trailer for animal caregiver
Land / Kennel property in Los Angeles County
