As you know, Hooves & Paws was created to help abused, homeless and unwanted animals. Since 2002, we have been working every single day to rescue needy animals and provide them with lifelong sanctuary. With a small staff and limited resources, Hooves & Paws has saved and continues to save a remarkable number of animals. We currently have 140 animals in our care.
With the help of our amazing supporters and volunteers, we have secured a magical new property for our rescued animals in Virginia. It is a beautiful 36 acre paradise with rolling green hills, woods, 2 ponds and a big barn. It will be a dream home for our animals and will allow us to make a difference for so many more animals who need our help.
We need your help now more than ever! We can't move until we get the property ready for the animals. We need to immediately build new fencing on the property and eventually, more shelters and a new dog barn. And once the property is ready, we need to safely transport the animals across the country and ensure that they get all their medical tests and health certificates for travel into Virginia.
We are very excited to move the animals soon from our current California sanctuary to the new property in Virginia. They are going to be so happy there!
